Hey Guys!
Yay it's finally the holidays! *hold for applause*
These holidays my family and I just returned home again from our little adventure. We just flew back from the South Island and did the Otago Rail Trail which was super exciting. I had not flown on a plane for a few years so I was a little nervous but still ready for it. I thought I would show you what my carry on essentials are to help you out or if you are just nosy (Like me!!)

Depending on where I am going, I will choose what carry on bag to bring. In this case, as we are biking for most of our holiday, I have chosen this Kathmandu Duffle bag that I got for Christmas. This bag is so roomy and also comfortable to wear, Which is very important for a holiday in my opinion.

I like to pack a pair of sunglasses with me, Im not too sure why...I think I do for when I get off the plane, just in case it's really sunny...I also think I look cooler when wearing sunglasses too. These are just some cheap circle sunglasses from Jayjays.

Reading material is a must. Our flight is just over an hour long so I can get a lot of reading done too. My choices of reading for this trip are the Iliad (Which is on my phone AND my holiday homework...woopee?) And Girl Online by Zoe Sugg.

Next, I have this pouch that I fill up with mostly 'beauty' essentials. I think it is important to have pouches to organise my stuff so I can find what I want, when I want it. Inside I have...

A hair brush and hair tie. There isn't much to say about this...I like to brush my hair and hair ties are handy??

I have deodorant and lip balm. Deodorant is super useful so you don't stink up the plane because who wants that?? (not me!) I love my Dove deodorant because it makes me smell and feel fresh. I also
have lip balm because I NEED my lip balm at least with me. I usually only take cheaper lip balms because I always loose them. i got this one at a road safety expo for free...Score!

Moisturisers...I can't function with dry skin. I have this simple moisturiser for my face. It is an amazing product and leaves my skin nourished and soft. I also have this Body Butter form The Body Shop. This product also works wonders for me. Its smooth and soft on my skin and has a subtle scent of honey.

My last essentials I have not posted a picture of. But they are my Phone and Headphones. I think everyone needs their phone with them. I use mine to take photos, edit blog posts, listen to music, post instagram shots...the necessities for a teenage girl. I just have a Samsung s3 as my phone.
